Bigbird® Pro

BigBird can be updated through the Timebirds app, available on the App Store and Google Play. Simply pair your device with your smartphone or tablet, then check for software updates under the settings page.

Timebirds Mini can be updated through the Timebirds app, available on the App Store and Google Play. Simply pair your device with your smartphone or tablet, then check for software updates under the settings page.

Timebirds® Sonic

Timebirds Sonic can be updated using the USB connector, which is also used to charge your device. You will need to download the OS uploader, available for both Apple and Windows PCs.

What you will need:

  • PC* (Windows 8 or above) or MacOS (v13 or above) with USB port.
  • Timebirds™ Sonic Timer.
  • Supplied Timebirds™ USB-A to USB-C cable

NOTE : Timebirds Sonic can not be updated with OS-5. OS-5 is for Timebirds Mini and BigBird products.

    Follow the step by step software update instructions as indicated in the Sonic Updater app.

    1. Open timebirds_sonic_OS_updater.exe
    2. Connect Timebirds Sonic to your computer.
    3. Turn on your Timebirds Sonic.
    4. Reseet your device by holding the - and + buttons together for 5s.
    5. Activate update mode by pressing the power button once while holding the bird button.
    6. Load the Sonic OS file on the updater
    7. Click update.
